MCEAP is

a 100% volunteer-run organization with zero overhead cost, and we strongly believe in providing a hand up instead of a handout. Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program, Inc. is a certified 501(C)(3), and our operations run entirely off of your donations and profits from the thrift store. Together we can provide food, clothing, household items and financial assistance in order to fill needs that other agencies are unable to meet.

Our Mission is

to assist Montgomery County residents in maintaining their households and restoring their self-sufficiency. This can be achieved by serving the immediate, emergency, and temporary needs of low-income, unemployed, elderly or handicapped individuals and families.
